Horizon Landscape and Design is a licensed landscape contractor based in Scottsdale. Homeowners across the Phoenix Valley hire us for complete backyard remodels and for single installations such as a paver patio, a turf lawn or a new irrigation system.
Every project starts with a plan you approve. We lay out the yard and settle the materials first, then put the scope in a written proposal, so you know what is being built before work begins.
The crew that installs your project works for Horizon. We do not subcontract our landscape installations, and one person stays responsible for communication and quality until the final walkthrough.
We back that work in writing. Hardscapes, travertine, artificial turf, irrigation, outdoor kitchens, outdoor lighting and retaining walls carry a 5-year workmanship warranty, and our aluminum pergolas carry a 25-year warranty. The Arizona Registrar of Contractors holds contractors to 2 years, and we chose to go well past the minimum.
Our work covers the hard surfaces and the living parts of a yard: pavers and travertine, artificial turf and sod, rock and gravel, plants, irrigation, lighting, pergolas and outdoor kitchens. Because we build all of it, the parts are planned to work together.
We are a design and installation company. We do not offer weekly maintenance, mowing or pool service.

Landscape installation is done by Horizon employees. We do not hand your yard to a subcontractor, so the people who planned the work are accountable for how it is built.
Horizon holds Arizona Registrar of Contractors license 357677. You can look up any contractor's license status and complaint history on the Registrar's website before you hire.
Layout and materials are settled on paper first. That keeps the proposal specific and avoids decisions being made in the middle of a build.
